SierraHerps.com is
owned/operated by Robert and Eric Hansen. We are located on a ranch in the
Sierra Nevada foothills of central California, an area of oak-studded hills
and extensive granite outcroppings. Our climate works well for breeding
Mexicana kingsnakes—our winter temps get cold, but not too cold (rarely
freezing), and the snakes seem to respond nicely.
This website is intended to
present images and information about kingsnakes of the Lampropeltis
mexicana complex. We hope you find our site educational and enjoyable,
