SURPLUS ANIMALS

Periodically we make available surplus animals to make room for other projects. These may be holdbacks a year or two old, or even breeding-size snakes that we no longer need. All are in prime condition, great feeders, and from excellent bloodlines. This can be a great way to jumpstart a breeding project. Shipping information may be found at the bottom of the page. Discounts offered for purchases of 3 or more animals (including any of the hatchlings listed elsewhere on this site).

Gray-banded Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis alterna)

The "River Road" (FM 170) runs along the north side of the Rio Grande in Trans-Pecos Texas, mostly in southern Presidio County. This is a beautiful, but very xeric region, where rainfall is unpredictable and multi-year droughts are common. Gray-banded kingsnakes from here are predominantly alterna-morph patterns, though there is considerable variation, as a look in our River Road gallery proves.

Shipping: Our animals are shipped in insulated boxes (with heat or cold packs as necessary) via Priority Overnight using Fedex. Someone must be available to receive the package.  Consider making your shipping dollars go farther by purchasing more than one animal; the shipping cost is the same whether you purchase one hatchling or a trio! 

Payment: We accept all major credit cards (through Paypal) as well as standard transfers using Paypal, as well as personal checks. We can also set up payment plans as needed, and will be happy to work with you—please ask.
